Abstract

The rapid shift toward remote work in recent years has underscored the importance of effective leadership in maintaining employee motivation. Transformational leadership, which focuses on inspiring and motivating followers to exceed expectations, has emerged as a key leadership style in these environments. This paper explores the relationship between transformational leadership and employee motivation in remote work environments, considering the challenges and opportunities these contexts present. Drawing from existing literature and theoretical frameworks, it examines the ways in which transformational leaders can enhance motivation among remote employees through communication, trust, and vision. Implications for management practices and future research are also discussed.
